Elles sont souvent mentionn\u00e9es conjointement, mais elles mesurent des param\u00e8tres diff\u00e9rents. Conna\u00eetre cette distinction facilite l'interpr\u00e9tation de tout certificat d'analyse.<\/p>\n<h2>Ce que mesure la HPLC : la puret\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>La chromatographie liquide haute performance consiste \u00e0 faire passer un \u00e9chantillon dissous \u00e0 travers une colonne garnie sous haute pression. Pour un peptide, la masse mesur\u00e9e est compar\u00e9e \u00e0 la masse th\u00e9orique d\u00e9riv\u00e9e de sa s\u00e9quence d'acides amin\u00e9s. Une correspondance \u00e9troite confirme <strong>identit\u00e9<\/strong>: la mol\u00e9cule correspond bien \u00e0 la s\u00e9quence indiqu\u00e9e sur l'\u00e9tiquette, et non \u00e0 un autre peptide de taille similaire.<\/p>\n<p>La spectrom\u00e9trie de masse (MS) est un outil d'identification.
